All of this can be seen directly at the top of the platform.
The balance field is your realised balance. This takes the total of your cash deposits, along with any realised PnL from previously closed trades. For example, if you deposit $1,000 and close a trade on the EURUSD with a total profit of $250, your balance will show $1,250.
Equity is the total of your Balance plus the PnL on your open positions. If you do not have any open positions, the equity will be the same as your balance.
Free Funds shows your Balance less the Margin required for your open positions. This metric shows you the funds that are available for any new fields, along with your cushion for adverse market movements. For example, if you have a balance of $1,000 and place a trade which has a margin requirement of $750, your Free Funds will show $250. This $250 can be used to open an additional position, or be used for margin against loosing trades.
Margin is the amount needed to open your position. For example if you open 1 lot (100,000 units) on the USDCAD, which has 400 to 1 leverage, your margin is 100,000 / 400 = 250 USD. In this example, you will then see $250 under the Margin field.
Margin level is a quick way to see how close you are to liquidation. At Mamonex, the liquidation level is 20%, so it is important to ensure your Margin Level is sufficiently above this to prevent any liquidations. The Margin Level is calculated as follows: Margin Level = (Balance / Margin) x 100. For example your balance is $1,000 and your margin is $250. Your Margin Level is equal to ($1,000 / $250) x 100 = 400%
The Profit field in the top right shows you the total unrealised PnL of your open positions. This Profit value will constantly fluctuate based on market movements until all positions positions are closed, at which point the Profit value will become 0.
